An Introduction to the WAIS-IV |
| Workshop Description |
The session will begin with a discussion of the rationale for the revision of the WAIS-III, providing details regarding the major changes. The presentation will cover revision highlights such as the development of new subtests, standardization details, and relevant psychometric properties. Following the revision overview, scoring and interpretation of the new WAIS will be discussed, including use of the revised scoring assistant. The session will likely appeal most to those practitioners working in a mental health setting (private practice, hospital, etc.)
